C.S. Lewis said that “Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art…. It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things which give value to survival.” Art was always a big part of my life, but especially living abroad it has started a new definition of value for me. Going to watch several dance pieces, theatre shows or movies on my own, I sometimes feel the lack of shared experience and its discussions. I hope to start a conversation with this blog. At the least, I will have an archive of my favorite pieces and thoughts to look back.
